Home sleep-testing platform for Watermark Medical — from device to doctor.
Challenge: A home testing device captured snoring and sleep data, but getting that data analyzed, reported, and in front of a doctor needed a connected platform.
Solution: One end-to-end platform: the device uploads data over Wi-Fi, the system analyzes it and generates reports, and patients book appointments with doctors nearby. All of it built by our team.

01The challenge
A sleep test at home still needed a path to a diagnosis
Watermark Medical, a US sleep diagnostics company, wanted patients to complete a sleep test at home instead of spending a night in a lab. That meant more than a device: the recordings had to reach the cloud securely, be analyzed, turn into reports clinicians could use, and lead the patient to a doctor.
- Capture snoring and sleep data reliably from a device used at home, not in a lab
- Move sensitive patient data from the device to the cloud securely
- Turn raw recordings into analysis and reports clinicians can act on
- Connect patients with a nearby doctor without manual coordination
02Our solution
One connected flow, from the bedroom to the doctor's office
- 01
Device connectivity
The home testing device connects to the patient's Wi-Fi and uploads the night's snoring and sleep data automatically — no cables or manual transfers.
- 02
Sleep data analysis
The platform processes each recording and analyzes the snoring and sleep patterns it contains.
- 03
Automated reports
Reports are generated automatically from the analysis, ready for patients and physicians.
- 04
Doctor appointments
Patients find doctors near them and book an appointment directly from the platform.
03Results & impact
What changed for Watermark Medical
End to end
Device, cloud, reports, and booking
- One connected flow from a home sleep test to a doctor's appointment, designed and delivered by our team.
- Patients can complete a sleep test at home instead of arranging a lab visit.
- Reports reach clinicians without manual data handling.
- Patient data handled under HIPAA requirements from device to report.
04Lessons learned
What made it work
Design for the home, not the lab.
Wi-Fi setup and automatic uploads had to be simple enough for any patient.
Security is part of the architecture.
HIPAA requirements shaped how data moved from device to cloud to report.
Close the loop.
A report only helps if the patient can act on it — so booking a nearby doctor is part of the same flow.
05Technology
How we built it
Device-to-cloud data ingestion over Wi-Fi, a secure platform for analysis and automated reporting, and a patient-facing appointment flow — all built under HIPAA requirements.
