Registry management platform for Justice Compliance — built end to end.
Challenge: Agencies must meet federal SORNA requirements with limited staff — and prove at audit time what was required, what was done, and by whom.
Solution: We built the Justice Compliance platform end to end: a cloud, multi-tenant SaaS with a Compliance Work Engine, registry operations, automated reporting, and four mobile apps.

01The challenge
Compliance work that has to be proven, not just done
Sheriffs' offices, police departments, and state registries must meet SORNA (Adam Walsh Act) requirements: registrations, tier classification, address verification, deadlines, and federal reporting. Tracking all of it with calendar reminders alone makes audits slow and risky.
- Obligations that change with every registration event and tier
- Address verification and check-ins spread across officers and locations
- Federal and state reporting done by hand
- Auditors who need proof of what was required, what was done, and by whom
02Our solution
From policy to proof
- 01
Compliance Work Engine
Registration events and statutory requirements become configurable obligations, and officers complete evidence-backed work items.
- 02
Registry operations
Registration, tier classification and tracking, GPS-based address verification, check-ins with photo verification, and employment and residence tracking.
- 03
Reporting & public access
Automated XML reporting for federal and state compliance, a public registry website with search and mapping, and victim notification.
- 04
Mobile & security
Officer, registrant, victim, and family mobile apps, on a security design aligned with CJIS Security Policy, NIST 800-53, and SOC 2 control objectives.
03Results & impact
What Justice Compliance launched
End to end
Product, platform, apps, and website
- A complete registry management platform, designed and delivered by our team.
- Every compliance action traceable — what was required, what was done, who did it, and the evidence behind it.
- Federal and state reporting automated.
- A product suite that now extends to case management, evidence management, victim notification, and missing persons.
04Lessons learned
What made it work
Model the rules, not the calendar.
Turning statutory requirements into configurable obligations made the platform adaptable to each agency.
Evidence belongs with the work.
Attaching proof to every work item is what makes an audit fast.
Security is designed in.
CJIS-aligned controls shaped the architecture from the first design decision.
